His remarks, titled “‘Follow the Money’: Courts, Corruption, and the Future of American Elections” discussed how three decades of shifting Supreme Court precedent on campaign finance, along with gridlock and dysfunction in Congress and regulatory agencies, has led to an unprecedented explosion of the role played by wealthy special interests in the 2016 elections.
