Follow Up Letter to the Bureau of Prisons Regarding Routine Use Exception

Campaign Legal Center, Disability Rights DC, the Washington Lawyers’ Committee, the League of Women Voters US, the League of Women Voters DC, and the Sentencing Project wrote to the BOP General Counsel’s office to again advocate for adoption of a Routine Use Exception. A Routine Use Exception would allow the BOP to share necessary data with elections agencies so that eligible incarcerated residents can more reliably access their ballots and such agencies can directly communicate with them.
