CLC Testimony in Support of New Hampshire Senate Bill 445

On January 16, 2024, Campaign Legal Center submitted a statement to the New Hampshire Senate Election Law and Municipal Affairs Committee in support of Senate Bill 445, which establishes a new public financing program for the state’s Executive Council candidates. Our comments highlight the benefits of public financing, demonstrates courts’ longstanding approval of these programs as a tool for strengthening our democracy, and makes recommendations for strengthening the bill.
