CLC Comments on Colorado Rulemaking Regarding Disclosure of Earmarked Funds

Campaign Legal Center submitted public comments to the Colorado secretary of state regarding proposed amendments to its campaign finance transparency rules. CLC’s comments include recommendations for strengthening the secretary’s rule to provide more comprehensive guidance on the disclosure of the sources of funds that are earmarked for political spending in Colorado elections and to ensure Colorado voters have more information about the wealthy special interests spending huge sums to influence their votes.
