CLC Alleges Federal Contractor Made Illegal Contribution to Pro-DeSantis Super PAC

On September 14, 2023, Campaign Legal Center (CLC) filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) alleging that Detroit International Bridge Co., a company that has received millions of dollars in federal government contracts over the past twenty-five years, violated federal campaign finance laws by contributing $236,800—while performing on active federal contracts—to the super PAC “Never Back Down,” which is exclusively supporting Ron DeSantis’s 2024 presidential campaign.
