Michael graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami, where he studied neuroscience and philosophy. He received his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, where he served as the Executive Comments Editor of The Legal Forum.  During law school, Michael interned for CLC, the City of Chicago Law Department, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, where he was a John Paul Stevens Public Interest Fellow. He also served as a Voter Protection Legal Fellow during the 2020 election. Michael is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.
