Kansas residents, including 3 from JoCo, sue over new Congressional map, calling it attempt to dilute minority votes

The lawsuit was brought on behalf of 11 Kansas residents, including three from Johnson County, by the ACLU of Kansas, the Campaign Legal Center and Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer, a multinational law firm based in Washington, D.C.. The suit asserts that the congressional map constitutes illegal partisan gerrymandering and violates the U.S. and Kansas constitutions.
