
Allison Walter
Allison is a legal fellow working on litigation and policy projects across CLC’s programs.

Prior to joining CLC, she clerked on the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. While in law school, she interned with the Lawyers’ Committee Voting Rights Project and worked on redistricting projects as summer associate at Covington & Burling. She served as a Voter Protection Fellow for the 2020 election and has conducted research on topics including the population base for redistricting and the legislative history of the 1982 Voting Rights Act reauthorization.
Allison is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis (J.D., 2021) and Saint Louis University (B.A. 2014). She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Kansas. Allison joined CLC in September 2022.
