After Florida’s Online Voter Registration System crashed for several hours on October 5, 2020—the deadline to register in Florida—CLC joined 34 other voting rights groups to urge Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Secretary of State Laurel Lee to extend the voter registration deadline by two days to 11:59 p.m. on October 7 and ensure that Floridians are not denied the opportunity to register because of the state’s faulty online system.

Steve Bullock from allowing counties in the state to hold vote-by-mail elections in November. Campaign Legal Center (CLC) is representing two Tennessee citizens, Ernest Falls and Artie Bledsoe, who want to exercise their right to vote. Tennesseans, like these plaintiffs, who have been convicted of felonies in other states have an established legal right to vote in Tennessee if their rights of citizenship have been restored in the state of their conviction. This lawsuit seeks to verify that established legal right.
