State campaign funds raised for Byron Donalds go to Super PAC to oppose Askar, Fig and Eagle

Brendan Fischer, director of the Federal Reform Program of the Campaign Legal Center, said there could be a violation of the law prohibiting a state office-holder who decides to seek federal office from transferring state office campaign funds to their federal race. Donalds says he knows that. "It is clear I have had no affiliation with the state PAC or any other PAC," he said. "It’s against federal law and I am not coordinating with anybody. I am running my campaign."
