The San Diego Union-Tribune: Election officials question campaign accounting for Issa's challenger, Applegate
Larry Noble, general counsel for the Campaign Legal Center, a public interest group in Washington, D.C., said Friday that it’s hard to understand what might have gone wrong until an amended report is filed.
“You won’t know how serious they are until they are resolved,” Noble said of the problems. “Mathematical errors are one thing, as opposed to finding out things weren’t properly reported. These are potentially big issues.”
