Interview: Trevor Potter on Texas AG's Lawsuit

“They’re not even saying that there are voter irregularities. It is a very bizarre lawsuit,” said Trevor Potter president of Campaign Legal Center. “What they are saying is that they object to the way that other states chose to conduct their elections, and specifically, they complain about Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Michigan. Not only is this a crazy theory, it requires judicial action from the Supreme Court, which Texas Republicans have long opposed, and it is anti-federalist because you want the Supreme Court to tell the states, specifically these four states, how they should run their elections.”
