“It is pretty likely that on November 4th, the day after Election Day, we won’t have a declared winner. But that’s okay. That’s not a problem or something that the court system would need to be involved in. Every state in the country has its rules, processes, and procedures for counting votes after Election Day, and those can take a little bit of time,” said Adav Noti, Senior Director, Trial Litigation & Chief of Staff, at Campaign Legal Center.
